Hexagon Green Biotech is one of the leading companies in the field of high-tech biotechnology producing agro-industrial products in South East Asia. We have come a long way since our inception. In fact, in the last 5 years, we have produced and supplied more than 1 million tissue cultured plantlets (in-vitro planting materials) from our laboratory at Malaysia Nuclear Agency Technology Park, Bangi, Selangor. Our 5-acre commercial orchid cut-flower farm at Bukit Changgang Agroteknologi Park, Banting, Selangor has exported more than 500,000 stalks since 2008. We also generate revenue from sales of potted-orchids, floral gifts, banana and vanilla starter plants, training courses, plant cloning services and consultancy. Currently, our tissue culture laboratory at MOSTI's Malaysia Nuclear Agency Technology Park is in full manufacturing producing 70,000 plantlets (in tubes, bottles and flasks) every month with a storage capacity of 400,000 plantlets. We have recently achieved our goal of producing 300,000 plantlets monthly and producing 4 million plantlets yearly by 2012.
